For the most part I love Great Greys; they’re incredibly photogenic and an amazing bird. This guy, however, decided it would be fun to scare me every time I turned my back. The moment I started to go take a picture of some other bird, I would hear a faint rustle, then feel a rush of air just centimetres above my head, followed by the giant wings of a massive owl flying over me.  Finally another family came into the aviary (we were alone before) and he decided to fly off and scare them instead— nearly hitting me with his right wing in the process.
